Monday, Monday, Monday! It began with me sleeping in just a "few" extra minutes, then forgetting my purse which had my cell phone in it and the checkbook to pay the babysitter. I think I need a rewind button for days like these because they are always a sign that things are not going to get better as the day goes on...
If you are a teacher you are well aware of the intense amount of testing that goes on this time of year. We just finished up our first round of testing. I am always so excited to see the growth of my students. I am a well trained and successful teacher so my current students should benefit from my expertise and wisdom as those have in the past, right? Well, all I can say is that for all the time, sweat and tears, I feel to an extent, defeated. I feel like I just failed my final exam and there is no re-take! Next round of testing begins on Thursday. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...
